This Friday, the Fourth of July, will mark the second of Pennsylvania’s two Fish-for-Free Days this year.
As a way to encourage youngsters and beginners to start fishing, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission schedules two such days each year in which anyone, residents and non-residents, may fish without a license. The first Fish-for-Free Day this year was Memorial Day.
The Commission says all other regulations will still apply, including creel limits and other restrictions.
The agency lists more details on their website, fishandboat.com.
