The Fourth of July will be Pennsylvania’s second and final Fish-for-Free Day of 2013.
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission reminds anglers and would-be anglers that anyone, residents and non-residents, may legally fish, even without a Pennsylvania fishing license this Thursday. All other state fishing regulations apply.
Fish-for-Free Days are designed to serve as introductions to the sport of fishing for many individuals, especially children. Memorial Day was also a Fish-for-Free Day. More information is available at the Fish and Boat Commission’s website.
