A State Police fire marshal says a 16 year-old Johnstown boy is the suspect in an arson fire that destroyed three buildings at a Christian Camp in Warren County over the weekend.
Investigators at the Warren State Police station say the fire was reported around 3:00 AM Saturday at Miracle Mountain Ranch in Spring Creek near Youngsville. It is believed the suspect set fire to hay stored in each of the three leveled buildings. No one was injured, but as many as two dozen animals were believed to have been killed.
Damages are estimated at about $200,000 to the buildings, to vehicles and equipment stored inside, and in the loss of over 5,000 bales of hay.
Because of his age, the boy’s name has not been released.
