Travel experts say Friday is expected to be the busiest day for Labor Day holiday travel, and drivers can expect to find a ramped-up police presence on the nation’s highways.

Here in Pennsylvania, a late summer campaign against intoxicated drivers started earlier this month, but this weekend police will also increase their attempts at combatting aggressive driving.  That includes speeding, running red lights or stop signs, tailgating and improper passing.

For statistical purposes, the State Police holiday enforcement period runs from 12:01 AM Friday through midnight Monday.
