Emergency officials in Mercer County revealed over the weekend the identities of the two people who died in a house fire in Grove City last week.
Police said 28 year-old Brandon Fortuna, from Grove City, and his sister, 43 year-old Kirsten Fellows, from Mercer, died in a fire that destroyed a home on McConnell Street in Grove City early Monday morning. Fortuna’s body was found in the basement, while Fellows was discovered in an upstairs bedroom.
Six fire companies were called to the scene. The identifications of the bodies were made several days after the fact, using the victims’ dental records.
A cause of the fire still has not been officially been released.
