Ted Ginn, Jr. caught five passes for 149 yards, including two touchdown throws from Derek Anderson, and the Carolina Panthers posted a 25-10 home preseason victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers ended exhibition play at 0-4, and will host the Tennessee Titans in their regular season opener on September 8.
In Thursday’s win, Carolina (3-1) also scored on a safety and on three Graham Gano field goals.
Rookie Landry Jones was utilized for the entire game as the Steelers’ quarterback, and completed 16-of-35 passes for 189 yards with a TD throw to tight end David Paulson. Jones was intercepted three times.
Paulson caught four passes for 41 yards. Felix Jones carried the ball 14 times for 56 Pittsburgh rushing yards.
