A Franklin woman faces charges following an incident in which she is accused of backing into an individual who was reportedly trying to keep her from driving away from an Oak Hill address early Sunday morning.
Franklin City Police did not indicate specifically why the pedestrian had stepped in, but they do indicate that the driver, 33 year-old Emily Drelick, had been drinking. There was no report as to whether the pedestrian had been injured.
Police say the incident occurred shortly before 1:00 AM Sunday at Oak Hill Apartments. They add that charges include reckless endangerment and driving under the influence.
