Fowler’s Course Record 61 Leads To Win At The Hero World Challenge

Rickie Fowler set a course record with an 11-under-par 61 on Sunday to race from a seven-stroke deficit at the outset of the day to a four-shot victory at the Hero World Challenge at the Albany Golf Club in Nassau in The Bahamas.

In the 18-man event, Fowler defeated Charley Hoffman, the third-round leader, with Jordan Spieth and Tommy Fleetwood tying for third place, six strokes behind the winner.

Tiger Woods in his return to competitive golf, rebounded from a 75 in his third round on Saturday to shoot four-under-par 68 on Sunday.  Woods tied with Matt Kuchar for ninth place at 8-under-par (69-68-75-68).

With a final score of 18-under-par (67-70-72-61), Fowler won one million dollars.
