The final four suspects in a Texas-to-Western Pennsylvania marijuana smuggling operation will be sentenced in the next few weeks following their guilty pleas to charges connected with an investigation which began in 2010.
25 year-old Adam Wood, from Venango, and three Meadville residents, 26 year-old Jeramie Ebbert, 30 year-old Robert Conaway and 25 year-old Elizabeth Bevilheimer entered their guilty pleas in Crawford County Court to varied charges in a probe into a drug operation which the state Attorney General’s office says was run by two twin brothers from Texas.
Twin 29 year-old brothers Miguel and Marcelino Rodriguez, from Eddy, Texas, their sister, 30 year-old Laura Rodriguez, from Chilton, Texas, 25 year-old Pamela Barrientos, from Eddy, Texas, and 61 year-old Silas Deets, from Venango, have all previously been sentenced in the case. The Rodriguez brothers are serving time in state prison, their sister and Barrientos were sentenced to terms in the Crawford County Jail, and Deets was sentenced to house arrest and probation.
Wood and Ebbert will be sentenced on June 21, and Conaway and Bevilheimer face sentencing on July 3.
