Four fire companies were called out early Thursday morning to a fire at Clarion Industries near Shippenville.

Crews responded shortly before 12:30 AM to the plant on Fiberboard Road, just off Route 322 in Paint Township.  Firefighters remained on the scene for nearly three-and-a-half hours.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the fire and any damage estimates have not yet been released.

In January, ten fire companies responded to the same company, some staying on the scene for about seven-and-a-half hours, battling a blaze in the higher sections of a large plant building on the property.  At the time, KQW reported that “damages to the upper section of the facility were described as severe.”
