At least seven fire companies responded Tuesday night to a large fire at a glass business on Route 257 (Seneca Hill) between Oil City and Seneca.

The fire at B&B Glass forced the closing of Seneca Hill and, for a time, Allegheny Avenue.  The business was destroyed, along with several various vehicles that were stored there.  There were no early reports on injuries.

Fire crews from Seneca, Oil City, Cornplanter Township, Reno, Rockland Township, Emlenton and Pinegrove Township were among the first-responders to a blaze that was discovered shortly after 8:00 PM Tuesday.  Many remained on the scene for most of the night.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
