A State Police fire marshal is investigating the cause of a Sunday morning fire that caused heavy damage to a bar in the Lucinda area.
Firefighters from four companies responded at about 7:00 AM Sunday to an establishment on Route 66 in Knox Township. The blaze had already gutted the top story of the building, and was shooting through the roof when they arrived.
The owners of the bar reportedly lived above their business, but were not home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.
Damage was described as “major.”
