An Emlenton man whom police found sitting on an Interstate 80 guardrail after he experienced vehicle problems has been jailed in Franklin.
State Police troopers say 50 year-old Kenneth Gratzinger and another man were discovered sitting on a guardrail, accompanied by a case of beer and a beef brisket. Police tell KQW Gratzinger then gave them a false name. Upon discovering the man’s true identitiy, troopers say they then learned Gratzinger was wanted on twelve warrants, many from Butler County, and that he had been driving under a D-U-I suspension.
Police say they initially charged Gratzinger with a new D-U-I count. He was then placed in the Venango County Jail awaiting transportation to Butler to face the outstanding Butler County charges.
