Earnhardt Wins Again At Pocono

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. on Sunday completed the first sweep of a year’s two NASCAR Sprint Cup races at Pocono Raceway with a win in the GoBowling.com 400.

Earnhardt also won at Pocono in June after capturing the season-starting Daytona 500 in February.  He currently stands in second position in the Sprint Cup points standings.

Earnhardt held off a charge by Kevin Harvick.  Joey Logano placed third.  Points leader Jeff Gordon finished sixth.

Next weekend’s race will be the Cheez-It 355 at the Glen to be run Sunday at Watkins Glen International in New York state.  Live coverage on ESPN Radio 1120 will begin at 12:00.
