Monday (July 8) marks the first date that the Pennsylvania Game Commission will be accepting applications for 2013-2014 antlerless deer licenses.
For the first three weeks of the application process, only residents of Pennsylvania may apply. Non-resident applications will be accepted beginning on July 29.
Starting on August 5, residents and non-residents alike may apply for any unsold licenses. A second round of unsold license sales, if needed, would begin on August 19.
The Game Commission reminds hunters that the application process remains the same as in recent years, and license fees remain unchanged. Antlerless permits which are available through the Deer Management Assistance Program for landowners remain available for some properties. They may be purchased through the Pennsylvania Automated License System.
