A Dempseytown boy leaves the annual Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg with the award for raising this year’s Reserve Grand Champion market goat.

Scott Snyder’s 81-pound “Munchken” brought in a class record $4,000.

Scott’s goat sailed through the competition, first winning as champion in “Weight Division 4,” and then as Middleweight market goat champion.  Reports from outside the Farm Show indicate Scott himself then went on to win honors in the Master Showmanship category.

Scott attends Oil City Area schools.

The Farm Show concludes on Saturday.
