The state’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources would like the public’s input as they prepare to update their five-year plan.

Their online survey is part of the Bureau of Forestry’s efforts to update the State Forest Resource Management Plan.  The survey helps the DCNR when it makes decisions on the management of forestry development and how Pennsylvania’s natural lands may be used for recreation.

The survey (accessed at dcnr.state.pa.us) contains 23 multiple choice questions, and should take about ten minutes to complete.  The bureau plans to hold several open house meetings to hear more from the public after they collect the results of the survey.
