Crosby Adds 3 To Points Total In Pens’ 4-3 Home Win Over Calgary

Sidney Crosby scored his 20th goal of the season and added two assists Saturday afternoon, and the Pittsburgh Penguins extended their season-best winning streak to seven games with a 4-3 home victory over the Calgary Flames.

Crosby’s league-leading points total now stands at 54.

Pascal Dupuis, Harry Zolnierczyk and James Neal also scored for Pittsburgh (27-10-1).  Marc-Andre Fluery (21-8-1) posted his 21st win of the season with 27 saves in 30 opportunities.

Mike Cammalleri, Jiri Hudler and Paul Byron scored for Calgary (13-17-6).

The Penguins lead Washington by 13 in the NHL’s Metropolitan Division, and Boston by five points in the race for the top playoff spot in the league’s Eastern Conference.

On Monday night, Pittsburgh — the winners of 12 of their last 13 games — will begin a four-game road trip, taking on the Senators (14-17-7) in Ottawa.  Radio pregame airtime on 06.3 KQW will be 7:00 PM.
