Cranberry Fireworks Spectacular Day Is Wednesday

While Franklin celebrates the Fourth of July for over a week, and Oil City condenses most of their holiday activities into one day on Jolly July 3rd, Cranberry traditionally gets the holiday off to an early start with the Cranberry Fireworks Spectacular on July 2.

The fireworks display, of course, comes at dusk, but several community businesses are offering food and other incentives throughout lunchtime and the afternoon to make the event an all-day occasion for those willing to come out early.

Then, in the early evening, inside and outside the Cranberry Mall, visitors will be able to find more food, musical entertainment and children’s activities such as face painting and balloon animals.

While there may be many vantage points from which to view the fireworks, many regular participants have found their favorite traditional perches, some near the Mall, some across Route 322 on the fringes of another shoppers parking lot, or at other locations in southern Cranberry Township.
