Cooperstown Supermarket Robbed

State Police are looking for the burglar or burglars who robbed a Cooperstown supermarket over the weekend.

Investigators say someone broke into the store on North Main Street sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning.  The intruder or intruders stole money from a cash register and a vending machine, and removed more than $1,000 worth of cigarettes and chewing tobacco.

The incident occurred sometime between 9:15 PM on Saturday night and 6:15 AM on Sunday morning.  Troopers at the Franklin State Police station in Cranberry Township are investigating.
