A Clarion man who entered guilty pleas in November to five of 252 charges in a child sex abuse case has been sentenced to five to ten years in state prison.

40 year-old Kirk Andreas was sentenced in Clarion County Court on his pleas to three counts of the indecent assault on a person under thirteen, and on charges of the aggravated indecent assault of a child and the corruption of a minor.  Andreas must also register for life as a sexually violent predator.

The victims in the case were identified as a seven year-old girl and a ten year-old boy.  The incidents reportedly occurred in two homes in Clarion Borough, and the charges were filed last April by Clarion Borough Police.
