The annual Clarion County Fair began Sunday at Redbank Valley Municipal Park in New Bethlehem.  The event runs through Saturday night.

Monday is Military Appreciation Day, and those bearing military identification cards will be admitted for free.

This year’s fair features a Thursday night concert by gospel singer and Christian comedian Mark Lowry, who has been a member of the world-renowned Gaither Vocal Band, a Wednesday night demolition derby, and tractor and truck pulls on Friday and Saturday.

The popular 4-H Livestock Sale is scheduled for Friday night at 7:00 PM.

Midway rides and games are being conducted by Tropical Amusements.

The fairgrounds are located along State Route 28, about a mile-and-a-half north of New Bethlehem.
