The Christian Life Academy girls basketball team posted a 34-16 victory over the Seeds of Life School from Indiana on Sunday to win the title game of the National Christian Schools Athletic Association tournament played at Family First Sports Park in Erie.
Anne Eakin scored 12 points to lead the Eagles (17-3), while Amanda Knecht added 10, and Clare Hepler pulled down ten rebounds.
The CLA boys team placed fourth in their tourney after a 43-35 loss to Connecticut’s Christian Heritage Academy in the event’s third-place game. Jackson McFall paced the Eagles (16-7) with 15 points, and Silas McFall added eight. Josh Clark recorded 23 points for Christian Heritage.
