A Butler man died Friday when his pickup left Route 62 in Tionesta, slammed into two trees and rolled onto its roof – pinned against the trees.

State Police from the Marienville station say 57 year-old John Zang was trapped inside the cab of his truck, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The fatal incident occurred shortly after 9:00 AM Friday near the Hunter Station Bridge.  Officials say Zang was returning home after having spent time at a camp he owned in Forest County.

Route 62 was closed for nearly an hour after the crash.
