A Florida man, dubbed the “Bucket List Bandit,” entered guilty pleas in federal court in Erie on Wednesday to charges involved with the robberies of eleven banks in ten states, including a robbery in Erie last September.

54 year-old Michael Brewster had been arrested at a traffic stop in Oklahoma three days after the last of the robberies, which was the heist that had occurred in Erie.

He will be sentenced in August.

Brewster’s nickname originated with a story that evolved from one of the robberies, purporting that he had told a bank teller he had only a few months to live.
