Autumn Leaf Festival Wraps Up With CUP Homecoming Weekend, Parade, Jr. Olympics

The climactic weekend of Clarion’s annual Autumn Leaf Festival features Clarion University’s Homecoming events, the festival parade and Junior Olympics events, among many other things.

CUP’s Alumni Association’s parade reception will be held from 10:00 AM until noon Saturday (Sept. 28) in the Hart Chapel parking lot.  The Tournament of Leaves parade steps off at noon.

Clarion’s Homecoming football game, pairing the Golden Eagles against Gannon, will begin at 2:00 PM (radio coverage with Mike Kalinowski and Joe Lodanosky beginning at 1:00 PM on 96.3 KQW and C-93 Radio).

Saturday night will feature a concert by rock-country band “North of the Mason-Dixon Line” at 7:30 PM in front of the Clarion County Courthouse.

Sunday’s activities will include an antique tractor show from noon until 5:00 PM on Main Street from 2nd to 5th Avenue, and the Junior Olympics for Clarion County children ages 5-to-12, beginning at 1:30 PM at Clarion University’s Memorial Stadium.
