An autopsy conducted Monday in Erie on the body of a Franklin murder victim has revealed the woman died of multiple traumas.  No further information was revealed, since the murder investigation remains in progress.

The body of 25 year-old Tausha Baker was discovered late Friday afternoon at the scene of a brush fire along Waterworks Road outside of Franklin.  Investigators believe Baker was killed in Franklin, possibly at a New Street residence, and that her body was taken to Waterworks Road and was set on fire.

Jailed without bail in the incident are 28 year-old Richard Kennedy, from Vandergrift in Westmoreland County, and 32 year-old Amanda Cypher, who reportedly had recently moved to Franklin from Butler Township in Butler County.  Kennedy is charged with criminal homicide, and both suspects were charged with conspiracy, aggravated assault, the abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.

Meanwhile, Franklin City Police say they found a car believed to be connected with the crimes early Monday morning, and investigators spent Monday searching several locations on Franklin’s 15th Street Hill in an attempt to locate articles of clothing they believe were discarded on Friday evening by their suspects.
