“Rocco’s Law” Signed To Protect Police Animals In Pennsylvania

Governor Tom Corbett has signed into law a bill referred to as “Rocco’s Law,” which toughens the penalties for anyone convicted of injuring or killing a police animal. Fire Damages Home In Cornplanter Township

Four fire companies fought a fire at a residence in Cornplanter Township outside Oil City for about three hours Wednesday night. The fire, reported shortly before 8:30 PM, broke out at a home on Scotts Lane. No injuries were reported.  There has been no word yet on the cause of the fire.
