A Townville woman spent the weekend in the hospital after a fire destroyed her home on Friday afternoon. Patty Burger was released from a Pittsburgh hospital on Sunday. Fire Destroys Oakland Township Home

A fire that broke out late Saturday night destroyed a home in Oakland Township near Dempseytown. Six fire companies responded to the blaze on Creek Road. The fire started shortly after 10:30 PM Saturday, and forced the collapse of the structure. No other details have been released.
