Paving Begins On Petroleum Center/Eagle Rock Road

PennDOT announced Tuesday that paving work was to begin this week on roads in Cornplanter and President Townships. The highways are known as Petroleum Center Road and Eagle Rock Road. The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Monday that they have signed one of their sixth-round draft choices from the April NFL draft. An unidentified Youngstown man was hospitalized Monday after he fell about twenty feet from a rock ledge at McConnell’s Mill State Park and into Slippery Rock Creek. State Unemployment Rate Falls To 7.6 Percent

The state Department of Labor and Industry says Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate dropped to 7.6 percent in April. The number marks a three-tenths of a percentage point decrease from March unemployment, tallied at 7.9 percent, and compares to the national jobless rate for April which stood at 7.5 percent. PennDOT’s YouTube Channel Is Up And Running

PennDOT announced Monday that its new YouTube channel has begun functioning.
