The San Antonio Spurs set a record for any game in the NBA championship series by hitting sixteen 3-point shots on Tuesday night in their 113-77 romp over the defending champion Miami Heat.

Danny Green sank seven of the treys, and finished with 27 points, and Gary Neal connected six times and scored 24 points, and the Spurs took a 2-games-to-one lead in the best-of-seven series.

LeBron James, who missed 11 of his first 13 shots, and Mike Miller, who was 5-for-5 from 3-point range, paced Miami with 15 points each.  The Heat is now 3-23 all-time in San Antonio, where game four will be played on Thursday night.
