23 year-old Texan Patrick Reed became the youngest winner of a World Golf Championship event Sunday, capturing the WGC Cadillac Championship at the Blue Monster Course at Trump National in Doral, Florida.

Fashioning an even-par 72 on the final day, Reed won his third professional title, and a check worth $1.53 million with a four-under-par 284.  Jamie Donaldson and Bubba Watson tied for second place at -3.  Dustin Johnson and Richard Sterne tied each other for fourth place at even par.

Tiger Woods, who was fourth at the start of play Sunday following his 66 on Saturday, shot a six-over-par 78 and finished nine strokes back.

Besides Reed, the only other golfers since 1990 with three PGA Tour wins before their 24th birthdays have been Woods, Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy and Sergio Garcia.
