Franklin City Police officials say a dozen warrants were issued in Venango County last Friday, and another four in California for individuals wanted in a California-to-Venango County narcotics connection.
The police report did not name names, or specify the drug or drugs involved. Numerous felony charges are pending
Reporting officer Kurt Gindhart says the warrants were served by Franklin and Oil City Police officials, United States Postal Inspectors and the U.S. Border Patrol Air-and-Marine Unit. A number of weapons and vehicles were seized during the action, along with other property and financial assets.
The warrants were issued as the result of a four-month investigation conducted by Franklin Police. postal inspectors and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Drug Task Force.
