Police are investigating yet another church break-in, bringing to a total of ten the number of such incidents reported over the last week, most occurring this past weekend.

State Police at the Franklin station say the burglary occurred sometime between midnight Sunday and 9:00 AM Wednesday morning at a church on Congress Hill Road in Sandycreek Township just outside Franklin.  The one item discovered missing was a jar of coins.

There was no early indication whether the two men arrested by State Police early Monday morning in the parking lot of a church on Raymilton Road in Frenchcreek Township are considered suspects in the case.

Churches in Seneca and Pleasantville have also been burglarized in recent days, and six incidents have been reported in Crawford County.  Those break-ins included three in the Meadville area, and at churches in Titusville, Townville and Guys Mills.
